Chairman's good causes
Each year, the Chairman chooses to support a charity or charities to raise money for during their year in office. This year, Councillor Lott has chosen to support two good causes – Great North Air Ambulance and Operation Veteran.
The Great North Air Ambulance provides pioneering pre-hospital care to the scene, rescuing hundreds of severely injured or ill patients every year. They provide services across the North-East, Cumbria and North Yorkshire, and are entirely funded by charity.
Operation Veteran aim to provide a dedicated service of support to veterans of the Armed Forces, to assist with their transition back into civilian life.
For more information about how to support the Chairman’s good causes, please contact Ashleigh Willis in the Civic Office on 0191 643 5347.
