Adults - standard membership..

You can borrow:

  • 8 Books for 28 days
  • 8 Talking books for 28 days
  • 4 DVDs for 7 day

There may be charges for non-book items, and there are variations in loan periods for people with hearing or visual impairment or physical disabilities.

Adults - Love2Read

Adults with a Love2Read membership can borrow:

  • 20 Books for 28 days
  • 8 Talking books for 28 days
  • 4 DVDs for 7 days

Children

Children can borrow:

  • 8 Books for 28 days
  • or 8 Story tapes for 28 days
  • or 8 Story CDs for 28 days

Childminder ticket

A childminder's ticket will allow you to borrow up to 15 books from any library for up to 28 days. This is in addition to a personal tickets. 

Choose from a huge range of board books, picture books, younger stories, older fiction, and information books suitable to all ages from birth to teens.

You can also access storysacks, big books, and other resources from North Tyneside Schools Library Service which is based in the White Swan Centre, Killingworth.

Open Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30; Saturday 09:00 to 13:00

Dudley (John Willie Sams Centre), Battle Hill, Howdon, Forest Hall, Wideopen and Shiremoor 
Open Tuesday & Thursday 09:00 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 17:30Saturday 09:00 - 13:00

Monkseaton and Longbenton (Oxford Centre)
Open Tuesday & Friday 09:00 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 17:30; Saturday 09:00 - 13:00
