Travel safety considers all users of the highway including, pedestrians, cyclists, horse riders, motorists and users of buses, Metro and taxis and private hire vehicles.
This Travel Safety Strategy sets out how the Council intends to further improve road safety by reviewing and improving infrastructure, increasing awareness and education of road safety matters and working in partnership to address travel safety concerns on our transport network.
