How can your organisation help?
Here are just some of the ways your organisation can help.
If there’s anything in particular that you’re doing that’s not listed below, help to inspire others and share your tips with us using this form.
- Map out your organisation’s impact on the environment and look at what you can change – like cutting down waste and reducing energy consumption
- Bring your team(s) on board – tell them of your plans and how each of them can contribute
- Check your supply chain – ask them what they’re doing to be more environmentally-friendly.
You might like to consider our North Tyneside Carbon Reduction Award scheme, which is for businesses or organisations to show their green credentials in tackling climate change by reducing carbon emissions and making a positive difference. There are Bronze, Silver and Gold standards to work towards and details are in the pdf attached below.
We're pleased to be able to share some of our Action on Climate Change posters here, for any business or organisation to print off and use at their premises. We can also supply a 'We pledge our commitment to carbon net zero' window sticker, if you would like one to display, please email marketing@northtyneside.gov.uk.
