Recycle your electricals campaign

This is one of over 50 UK projects funded by Material Focus, the not for profit organisation leading the Recycle Your Electricals campaign. We are joining other projects around the country to make it easier for 10 million UK residents to recycle their electricals
This follows the successful introduction of small electricals recycling banks and vape tube collection points across the borough, in which more than 9.5 tonnes of small electricals were collected over 12 months. The scheme, also funded by Material Focus, has now been made a permanent part of the council’s operations.
Use our map of recycling locations to find your nearest recycling point.
Battery and vape recycling
Batteries and vapes can ignite when crushed during the waste collection and sorting process.
Please remember to remove any batteries from your electricals and recycle them separately.
