How to apply for a school place in September 2026 Reception class, Y5 of Middle School, Y7 of High School, or Y9 of Whitley Bay High School. Please read carefully.
- If your child's date of birth is between the 01/09/2021 and the 31/08/2022 they will be starting Reception class in September 2026. You can apply via the Online Portal from the 8th September 2025. The closing date for applications is the 12th January 2026. You must apply before this date. Please click on the Apply link below to make your application
- If your child is due to start in the first year of a Middle School, year 5, in September 2026 you can apply via the Online Portal from the 8th September 2025. The closing date for applications is the 31st October 2025. You must apply before this date. Please click on the Apply link below to make your application
- If your child is due to start in the first year of a High School, year 7, in September 2026 you can apply via the Online Portal from the 8th September 2025. - If your child is due to start in the first year of a Whitley Bay High School or Monkseaton High School, year 9, in September 2026 you can apply via the Online Portal from the 8th September 2025.
