North Tyneside Family Hubs
North Tyneside Family Hubs provide free activities for the whole family. Everything on offer is aimed at giving your family the chance to have fun together, develop skills for school, work and life.
Centres are open Monday to Friday for regular activities and you can find more about each centre below:
Joining a Family Hub
As a member, you can visit all of the Family Hubs in North Tyneside.
You can find the link to join online above, or you pick up an application form from any of the Family Hubs (Health Visitors can also provide you with one).

All activities are available in term time only with the exception of Healthy Child Clinics, the full timetable of Healthy Child Clinics available across North Tyneside can be found on the 0-19 Children's Public Health page.
*Older siblings are welcome to attend Brilliant Babies sessions

Courses for parents and carers
Being a parent or carer is one of the most rewarding but challenging jobs there is.
Providing the care, love, security and support your child needs to develop as a happy, healthy and confident individual is crucial.
Whether you’re pregnant and looking to do some formal learning, a new parent or a parent to a primary or secondary age child or young person, there are comprehensive online courses residents of North Tyneside can access for free.
Each course aims to improve emotional health and wellbeing by supporting the relationships in families.

Healthy relationships for parents
Online courses are available for parents and carers in different circumstances:
- Me, You and Baby Too - for new and expectant parents
- Arguing Better - for parents or carers who want help with stress and/or arguing
- Getting It Right for Children - for separating or separated parents.
