Pest control

Our friendly and professional pest control team are on hand to help with unwanted guests including rodents, insects, bugs and wasps. All work is carried out discreetly and our great value rates cover up to four visits per treatment.

This service is only for residential properties. We don't treat commercial properties. Appointments are weekdays only.

For private properties there is a charge of £20 including VAT for treating rats or mice.

For council tenants the service charge is included in the rent.

We treat:

• rats within domestic properties including the garden area
• mice within domestic properties but don't undertake treatment of mice outside of the property

Before our visit:

• don't feed the birds
• clear any possible areas where the rats or mice might hide

For private properties there is a charge of £20 including VAT for treating fleas

For council tenants the service charge is included in the rent.

We carry out treatments for fleas within the property. A pest control officer will spray the infected area(s) with water based residual insecticide which when dry cannot be seen.

Before our visit:

• treat your pets for fleas
• vacuum all floors and upholstered furniture paying particular attention to borders and skirting boards and dispose of vacuum contents in the outside bin
• move furniture away from the walls (if possible)
• remove any aquatic or reptile life from the infected room

After the treatment has been applied do not vacuum for at least two weeks.

For private properties there is a charge of £20 including VAT for treating bed bugs and cockroaches.

For council tenants the service charge is included in the rent. We'll carry out an initial inspection to find out the extent of the problem and undertake the appropriate treatment.

Before our visit:

• vacuum infected rooms
• remove bedding and treat on a hot wash
• move furniture off walls (if possible)
• remove any aquatic or reptile life from infected rooms
• for cockroaches, please clear all floors and benches of equipment

There is a charge of £40 including VAT for treating wasps.

We do not undertake treatments for bees unless there is a significant risk to a person's health and safety. If a treatment is required then a charge of £40 will be payable before the treatment is undertaken.

There is a charge of £40 including VAT for treating ants.

Householders can also:

• buy suitable bait stations and insecticides at garden centers or hardware stores (read instructions carefully before carrying out the treatment)
• hire a private pest control company

These services will be at your own expense. The insecticide should be used to treat cracks and crevices inside and outside of the property or placed where ants can be seen or you think a nest is located.

We do not carry out repairs to properties. You or your landlord are responsible for any repairs required to prevent further infestations.
