Who we are and what we do
The North Tyneside Strategic Partnership (NTSP) brings together different organisations and groups to work together to improve quality of life for people living and working in North Tyneside.
We want North Tyneside to be a place where everyone:
- has the chance to improve their lives
- can contribute to building strong and inclusive communities where people want to live and work
We aim to improve the quality of life for people living in our most deprived communities by:
- improving their health
- improving their learning and work opportunities
- improving the environment
- reducing crime
Working in partnership we:
- join up services for residents and make them better co-ordinated
- work together on issues in a more effective way

Each theme partnership:
- is made up of representatives from relevant groups and agencies in North Tyneside
- provides experience, expertise and local knowledge
- has its own co-ordinator
- meets regularly, develops action plans and sets out objectives and solutions
These are closely linked to the Our North Tyneside Plan.
Partnership Executive
The Executive are senior representatives from:
- key public sector organisations
- theme partnerships
- the private sector
- community and voluntary agencies
The Executive:
- manages the partnership
- oversees work towards achieving the Our North Tyneside Plan
- makes decisions on strategy
- ensures the work of the different theme partnerships is co-ordinated
