Children, young people and learning

About this theme

This theme partnership also represents North Tyneside's 'Children's Trust' arrangements.

All work in children's services is done with the aim of improving the life chances of children and young people; and the involvement of them in planning and reviewing services. Services will increasingly be designed to prevent children and young people becoming socially excluded.

Additionally, this partnership is responsible for providing learners of all ages with access to high quality education and training, irrespective of where they live in the borough. Providers work in partnership to co-ordinate action to address cradle-to-grave learning issues; and encourage wider participation in education and training.
