Licensing – Revised Statement of Licensing (Sexual Entertainment) Policy
Consultation details
The existing Statement of Licensing (Sexual Entertainment) Policy was due for review, so the Regulation and Review Committee agreed an eight week consultation exercise. This included MP’s, MEP’s, Police, Fire Authority, trade representatives and existing licence holders. Consultation also took place with members of the public via a draft policy being made available on the Council’s website, libraries and Customer Contact Centres and via Pub Watch. The report shared at the meeting of Cabinet on 13 February 2017 is set out below. The revised policy was approved and came into force from February 2017. The authority would like to thank everyone who shared their views as part of this engagement exercise.
