We would like to hear from residents who live in the North West of the borough - Longbenton, Camperdown and Weetslade Wards (see a link to the ward map below). We'd like to know about any volunteering opportunities and community groups in your area and whether they are meeting your needs, are in need of support or whether you require something different. Funding is being made available to support volunteering, community groups and and social action projects in the North West of North Tyneside and we would like to hear from you about your experience of volunteering and community organisations in your area so we could apply for it.
If we are successful in getting funding we could help set a Community Partnership for these 3 ward areas.
What would a Community Partnership (a group of agencies and residents working together) provide?
- Funding for volunteering and/or social action projects
- Investment for voluntary and community infrastructure
- Investment for local community groups
