TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic:
Burradon
On the footpath at the rear of number 28 Burradon Road.
An alternate route is available via the surrounding footpaths.
The proposed temporary Order is required to reconnect a water supply and will come into force on 3 June 2024 for a period not exceeding 5 days.

Killingworth
On Station Roads level crossing.
An alternate route is available via Station Road, Northumbrian Way, Southgate, Great Lime Road, Killingworth Drive.
The proposed temporary Order is required for engineering works at the level crossing and will come into force on 23 June 2024 for a period not exceeding 1 day. Working hours will be from 22:00 - 05:50.

On Chirton Green Lane from the rear of numbers 5-9.
An alternate route is available via Chirton Avenue Lane, Lilburn Street
The proposed temporary Order is required to install a water meter and will come into force on 11 June 2024 for a period not exceeding 4 days.

On Church Way Lane.
There is no alternative route as this is a back lane. Access to be maintained where possible.
The proposed temporary Order is required to lay new ducting and duct overlays and will come into force on 27 June 2024 for a period not exceeding 2 days.

On Linskill Terrace Lane from behind number 6-8 Linskill Terrace.
An alternate route is available via Grey Street, North King Street, Grey Street Lane.
The proposed temporary Order is required to install a water meter and will come into force on 11 June 2024 for a period not exceeding 4 days.

An alternate route is available via Kitchener Terrace, Park Crescent East, Washington Terrace.
The proposed temporary Order is required for a comm pipe renewal and will come into force on 10 June 2024 for a period not exceeding 5 days.

An alternate route is available via Rudyerd Street, William Street.
The proposed temporary Order is required to renew a boundary box and will come into force on 17 June 2024 for a period not exceeding 5 days.

An alternate route is available via Verne Road, Balkwell Avenue, Langley Road, Hollywell Road and in reverse order.
The proposed temporary Order is required to carry out sewer repairs and will come into force on 10 June 2024 for a period not exceeding 4 days.

An alternate route is available via High Street East Lane At Rear Of Working Mens Club, Willow Grove, High Street East, Oak Grove.
The proposed temporary Order is required to carry out a service abandonment and will come into force on 3 June 2024 for a period not exceeding 5 days.

There is no alternative route however access to be given/maintained for residents/refuge where possible.
The proposed temporary Order is required for the delivery of a modular unit and will come into force on 26 June 2024 for a period not exceeding 1 day.
