(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on Wellington Street from the junction with Little Bedford Street to the junction with Bedford Street.

An alternate route is available via Little Bedford Street, Saville Street West.

The proposed temporary Order is required is required for footway and carriageway reconstruction.

The Order will come into force on 2 September 2024 lasting until the 29 August 2025.
