TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it has made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order prohibits all through traffic on Delaval Avenue from the junction with Addington Crescent to outside number 7 Delaval Avenue. 

An alternate route is available via Addington Crescent, Billy Mill Avenue. 

The proposed temporary Order is required to carry out a sewer cleanse and CCTV survey.

The Order will come into force on 26 August 2024 for a period not exceeding 3 days. Works are expected to only take 1 day, extra days to allow for any unforeseen issues.
