NORTHUMBERLAND SQUARE, NORTH SHIELDS

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

The Council of the Borough of North Tyneside Council gives notice that it has made an Order under Section 16(A)&(B) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.  The effect of the Order prohibits all vehicles (except emergency vehicles) using:

Northumberland Place/Northumberland Square from its junction with Church Way to its junction with Upper Norfolk Street commencing on Wednesday 4 December 2024 at 6am until Monday 9 December 2024 at 5pm.

Howard Street at its junction with Upper Norfolk Street and Saville Street from Wednesday 4 December to Monday 9 December 2024.

Northumberland Square, Upper Camden Street will be closed to vehicles on Wednesday 4 and Monday 9 December 2024.

Alternative route is via Church Way, Albion Road, Upper Norfolk Street, Norfolk Street and vice versa.
