NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Tyneside Council will make the following Order on 12 May 2025.

Under the provisions of Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847.  North Tyneside Council hereby order that during the times stated below the following regulations will be observed to temporarily prohibit all vehicular through:

a)       Clifford Street, Union Quay, Bell Street and Western Quay, North Shields between 12:30 hours and 14:00 hours on 20 June 2025.

b)       Fiddlers Green and Clifford’s Fort, North Shields between 10.30am and 14:00 hours on 20 June 2025.

The purpose of the order is to prevent obstruction during the North Shields 800. The penalty for infringement of the above regulation is a fine.
