(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on Clive Street from the junction with Bedford Street to the entrance of Dolphin Quays. 

An alternate route is available via Liddell Street, Bell Street, Union Quay, Union Road, Brewhouse Bank, Bird Street, Charlotte Street, Saville Street, Saville Street West, Borough Road, Clive Street and in reverse order. 

The proposed temporary Order is required for gas mains replacement.

The Order will come into force on 4 August 2025 for a period not exceeding 19 days.
