Air Quality Consultation

Councils in North Tyneside, Newcastle and Gateshead have been ordered by Government to prepare a plan about what actions are required to address pollution caused by vehicles.

We have now begun consultation on the potential measures that could be put in place and we are very keen to hear from as many people as possible.

As well as seeking views on different types of charging measures, we’re also interested to hear people’s views on the types of vehicles that could be charged.

Nexus consultation on planned changes to local bus services in North Tyneside (services 51A, 59/359 and W3)

On Monday 25th February 2019, Nexus launched a 6 week consultation on planned changes to services in North Tyneside.  The attached briefing note provides an over-view of the changes that Nexus are proposing and also explains why they feel it is necessary to make these changes.  Maps illustrating the proposed changes are also attached for your information.
